Our Terms & Conditions

CArChecker.ae

Comprehensive inspection is conducted with the vehicle on the ground in normal conditions only during daylight hours, to the best of the technician’s ability. Parts covered, in inaccessible locations, or with restricted visibility cannot be inspected due to the nature of the vehicle’s construction.

Turbo chargers or superchargers are assessed solely on performance as there are no instruments to determine their operation installed in most vehicles, compression tests are not conducted due to the need of dismantling engine parts to do so.

Each vehicle’s structure will be inspected for bends/cracks/corrosion and any other signs of having been affected by a collision or modification, the exposed structural areas are inspected visually by the Technician and are limited to those visible without having to dismantle any parts of the vehicle, for a precise chassis or unibody report we recommend using a facility with dedicated laser and/or sensor-based equipment that measures the vehicle’s structure and compares against manufacturers specifications.

The function of the airbags cannot be tested as these are triggered by impact sensors and/or a sudden change of angle and/or speed of the vehicle. Airbag covers will be inspected for signs of past deployments and tamper indications as well as the diagnostic scan for any related trouble codes, these being the limits of said inspections.

Specific emissions readings cannot be taken as specialist equipment is required for the said test, emissions control features such as catalytic converters and exhaust systems fall under the normal visual inspection process.

Timing belts, cam belts, and any other component that is covered or out of sight can only be verified through service documentation, if none such exists we recommend servicing these items to ensure proper engine function.

Air conditioning systems are checked for normal operation at the time of inspection for a limited amount of time, if there are any issues with the system, we recommend a specialist is consulted regarding the cause.

The function and performance of traction controls and differential locks cannot be checked in normal conditions unless suitable sites and conditions are available.

Any issues that may arise and are related or unrelated to the inspection’s findings will not be the responsibility of CarChecker.ae

The vehicles paint will be inspected using the best equipment available on the market for this purpose, this equipment will detect re-sprays down to half a millimeter in thickness on any steel and aluminum body panel, the devices will not work or give inaccurate readings on other materials or if the vehicle has been wrapped, ceramic coated has stickers or has any other material or component that does not allow the device direct unrestricted access to the panels. If the vehicle is not completely clean during the inspection, CarChecker.ae will not commit to visually identifying any scratches or imperfections on the car’s paint that might be covered by dirt or dust.

The inspection report is an evaluation of the current condition of the vehicle and its components and in no way constitutes any kind of warranty towards any kind of future failures. The inspector will not reset, calibrate or modify anything related to the vehicle’s computer, the scanning equipment is used solely to read diagnostic trouble codes and other vehicle information and will not tamper or interfere with any of the car’s electronics.

A road test is conducted when available, road conditions to test play or other issues with suspension components, vehicle performance including shifting of transmission, the performance of brake system, and other normal vehicle functions, road test availability will be subject to registration status and location of the vehicle for the road test, duration is between 10 to 15 minutes or 3 to 5 km, the inspector cannot guarantee test conditions will be met due to varying locations of vehicle inspections. The maximum speed for road tests will be determined by the location’s legal speed limits.

CarChecker.ae’s mobile Pre-purchase inspection does not constitute a full diagnostic of root causes of mechanical issues, for this, it is recommended to consult a mechanic with the necessary equipment to find the origins and root causes of defects such as leaks and failed components, CarChecker.ae commits to identify that a fault is present(such as oil leaks or noticeable shortfalls) however it is the mechanic and/or workshop to that will identify the root cause of the said defect. CarChecker.ae will not provide any official estimates on the cost of repairs or component replacements, quotations for work should be sought from the customer’s chosen workshop and will vary from one to another.

If there are any findings on the report that are incorrect or there are any issues that have not been observed by the technician but still fall under the inspection parameters, the customer will be protected with a full money-back guarantee of the service premium, this being the limit of CarChecker.ae’s liability.

Unless explicitly communicated to CarChecker.ae upon receiving this invoice, the customer/owner/person contracting CarChecker.ae for the service accepts the previously mentioned conditions upon receipt of this invoice.
